Howdens Paintable Kitchens/Prime Kitchen

If you want to buy kitchens from the company, e.g. Howdens, but you don’t like the color in their palette. We have good news for you. We work together with kitchens producing companies. Please purchase of Paintable Kitchens/Prime Kitchen from them, and then your kitchen goes to our workshop for spray-painting. We offer the whole palette of paints and shades that you will dream of.

Preparation is the key to the success of kitchen spray painting.

When you choose us to work on your kitchen resprayed, you’ll discover that we put in a great deal of time and effort to the preparation. This is because it is in high-quality preparation that we can achieve an exceptional finish.

A minimum team of two will begin by covering the area to be worked on with polythene sheeting while securing all items and surfaces that will not be spray painted. Depending on the size of the workspace, we may separate it into sections, curtaining off areas, allowing you to retain some access. Part of the preparation ensures safe ventilation of the work area.

Some items, such as cupboard fronts, can be removed from your kitchen for us to spray paint in our workshop. Here we can sand down, degrease and then paint them, as well as make any minor repairs as needed, without any impact on your home.

Kitchen Spray Painting FAQs

Kitchen spray painting is calculated by the number and size of cabinet doors, drawers and other sections. The cost is also affected by your chosen finish. For example, a 100% wet-look high gloss is more costly than a low sheen option. You can typically expect an average size kitchen to cost £1500  and above or from £45  per door, side panel and skirting.

Choose a less time-consuming finish, such as a matt or satin finish, rather than gloss. You can also choose to only spray paint the external side of the drawers, doors etc. and only visible elements, reducing labour costs by as much as 20%. It is also possible to choose to remove the fronts for spray painting yourself and deliver these directly to our workshop, as well as collect them when completed.

Yes, we provide clear and transparent quotes. Let us know whether you would like a budget, standard or premium service and we will provide the relevant quotation.

We have created an efficient process to ensure that disruption to you is minimised. You’ll be able to use the kitchen once the doors have been removed, meaning only a few hours without access. Our lead times vary, but you can expect your fronts to be returned and refitted in one day, in 14-21 days after removal.

If some of your kitchen requires onsite spray painting, then there will be a little more disruption. However, we work to keep this to a minimum. Usually, it is possible to split this over just two visits.
Visit 1: We remove unit fronts and handles, collect all removable elements such as cover panels, plinths and pelmets, prepare the remaining areas, and then complete the onsite spraying. This is usually a full day onsite.
Visit 2: 14-21 days later we return with all of the parts which were taken to our workshop and reinstall these. This visit is usually much shorter.

It can help us to provide you with an accurate quote if you can send several photos covering your whole kitchen, taken from different angles. Also send us a tally of how many drawers, doors and side panels you have, as well as their sizes. If you can include the colour and sheen level you would like then this will also lead to an accurate quote.
